Marta Nowak

Lecturer

Marta Nowak is a registered architect and a founding principal of AN.ONYMOUS- a transdisciplinary design firm. She focuses on the relationship between human body and machine in the context of architecture and urban design, looking specifically at mobility, micro-spaces, and prosthetic technology. Prior to establishing her own practice, Nowak worked as an editorial assistant at Harvard Design Magazine, and an architect at Safdie Architects, Toshiko Mori Architects, and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. She has also been a design consultant at numerous innovation and technology companies, including Hyperloop Transportation Technology, and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Her work has been exhibited in international venues including MOMA PS1, A+D Museum and Hammer Museum. She has been a recipient of numerous awards and grants including Harvard University International Community Service Fellowship to work at the United Nations Human Settlement Program in Nairobi, Kenya.
