Chris Rancourt
Lecturer
Chris Rancourt is an architectural designer based in Los Angeles. He earned his bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of the Pacific, where he also competed as a student athlete. Rancourt completed his Masters of Architecture at UCLA AUD, where he graduated with distinction and earned the culminating research award in his final year of studies.
Before venturing into architecture, Rancourt held roles in tech, music, and furniture design in the San Francisco Bay Area. Chris's architectural experience spans multiple scales, disciplines, and design typologies, having contributed to projects at Sharif, Lynch: Architecture, Formlessfinder, and GRO.
His current focus lies in interdisciplinary design, combining research and narrative with the spatialized application of information and data. Chris is actively developing a collaborative practice in Los Angeles, while continuing his professional role at GRO.
