Winner, Randy Brown


Alumni Randy Brown’s (M.Arch. I ’91) studio RBA won a 2012 AIA National Honor Award for Interior Architecture for his design of ARTifact- the Kent Bellows Studio and Center for Visual Art in Omaha, Nebraska.  The project also won a Contract magazine national award in January of 2012.  The project, the renovation and transfer of the deceased artist Kent Bellows' studio into a gallery and art school for inner city at risk children.  This is Randy's seventh AIA national honor award for interior Architecture to go along with his first AIA national honor award for Architecture , two AIA national awards for housing and four AIA national awards for small projects.  TOTAL of fourteen AIA national honor awards for studio RBA.
