Professor Craig Hodgetts

KCRW's Guest DJ Project invites an array of cultural icons to share and discuss songs that have inspired and moved them with KCRW DJ's. Actors, authors, chefs, athletes, directors, tech entrepreneurs and more share their musical passions, giving deep insight into both their lives and their creative process.

Professor Craig Hodgetts credits the “unencumbered and exceedingly emotional” style of Miles Davis for shaping the direction of his architectural work. He also names the sounds of Vangelis and Terry Riley as inspirations in a guest DJ set that is a tribute to all kinds of creative work. Hodgetts and his partner alumni Ming Fung (M.Arch. I ' 80) designed LACMA’s exhibit on California design from1930 to 1965 that was launched as part of the Pacific Standard Time initiative.
