Professor Neil Denari (UCLA A.UD) has been named to the American Institute of Architects’ prestigious College of Fellows. He is among 147 AIA members elected as 2015 Fellows.
The AIA Fellowship program elevates architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession. Election to Fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of the architect as an individual, but also honors before the public and the profession a model architect who has made a significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
In Denari’s more than 30-year career, he has worked as a senior designer at James Stewart Polshek and Partners in New York, exhibited his work at numerous museums and galleries, and received international recognition for his work. His award-winning Los Angeles-based firm, Neil M. Denari Architects is dedicated to exploring the worlds of architecture, design, urbanism, and global cultural phenomenon. He teaches graduate studios in UCLA’s Department of Architecture and Urban Design (A.UD).
The 2015 Fellows will be honored at an investiture ceremony at the AIA Convention May 14-16 in Atlanta.
