Although the speed of transportation is increased and made more efficient, the amount of time spent during transport is increasing as the distinctions between work and leisure spaces blur. The notions of architecture and transportation are starting to emerge as autonomous vehicles are exceedingly being considered as extensions of architectural spaces.
This Project explores autonomous vehicles within the shared economy. Various companies such as Airbnb, Amazon or Sega will soon have autonomous vehicles that serve their customers with the notion of autonomous vehicles as moving rooms. The modular architecture allows these shared vehicles to attach to the existing living units to provide their service.
