DESIGN STUDIO I MID REVIEW (2016 FALL)
2016 FALL I Interactive Visual Performance
For 2016 Fall Quarter Design Studio, students investigated into various techniques using Video Editing and Projection Mapping to create a Sound Responsive Environment. Students first compiled a list of Video Clips to depict various aspects of the sound track and collaboratively composed a 3 minute Video Art including live performance. Students looked into dynamic visual patterns and sound reactive techniques which could transform the visual and physical characteristic of architectural and spatial elements. By composing visual contents and playing it as a live performance, students explored the relationship in between performers and viewers and new advanced design strategies for contemporary staging.
