LOG 37: ARCHITECTURAL IMAGINATION VENICE BIENNALE
Log 37: the “cataLog” to “The Architectural Imagination” United States Pavilion at the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale, is now available. This issue documents the exhibition and features the twelve speculative projects designed for four sites in Detroit by visionary American architectural teams on view in Venice, Italy until the Fall, including UCLA professor Greg Lynn, of Greg Lynn Form; Alumni Jacklin Hah Bloom (M.Arch.II ‘00), of Pita+Bloom; Kristy Balliet (M.Arch.II ’04), of BairBalliet; Kelly Bair (M.Arch.I ’05), of BairBalliet; Ellie Abrons (M.Arch.I ’06), of T+E+A+M and Adam Fure (M.Arch.I ’06) of T+E+A+M. Writings by historians, critics, and theorists are also presented including UCLA professor and director of MA/PdD programs at UCLA A.UD Sylvia Lavin and alumni Todd Gannon (Ph.D ’11).
