It has also been shortlisted for the 2015 World Architecture Festival. The 4,400-square-foot former hair salon was completely gutted to create light-filled, minimalist galleries for displaying and highlighting merchandise.  Studio Dental, a mobile dental unit, has won an AIA Academy of Architecture for Health National Healthcare Design Award, AIACC Design Award, and AIA San Francisco Design Award. At an international level, the project was honored with a Green Good Design Award. Montalba created a “dental office on wheels” in a 26-foot-long trailer with only 230 interior square feet to accommodate a sterilization room, waiting area, and two operatories.
