RESOURCES

Student Representatives
Students play an important role in the governance of the Department.  Student representatives are nominated, and then voted upon by their classmates each Fall.  These students (two representatives from each class/program) are encouraged to observe and participate in the discussion at those faculty meetings to which they can appropriately be invited.  It is the responsibility of the student representatives to report back to, and get feedback from their colleagues.

Orientation for Incoming Students
Orienation welcomes the incoming students to the Department on the Wednesday before the first day of instruction for the Fall Quarter. This event offers an introduction by the administration and faculty followed by an all-school social event in the courtyard.
